Welcome to the Wonderfully Creative Space that is the Bazaar Workshop

Our creative space is finally cleared, tidy, painted, furnished and already proving to be everything that we hoped it would.

Okay, so it took a while. But Rome wasn’t built in a day…

We’ve already held several workshops, as well as introducing a ‘paint-along’ drop-in session for those wishing to create their own chalk-painted furniture masterpiece but wanting the support of a professional while they do it. There are several workshops already available over the next few months, including a repeat of our popular linoprinting workshop, potted hares (Intrigued? Head to our workshop booking page for more information….), tie dying workshop as well as an Italian papercutting workshop and a chair painting workshop!

Bazaar Workshop – Linoprinting

This workshop, led by experienced tutor Debs, allowed complete novices to understand the linoprinting process, taught them the skills to cut their own linoprinting block then see their finished print in the form of a greeting card!

Hosted by Bazaar Workshop – FoxyPheasant’s Chalkboard Workshop

This introductory workshop gave participants the chance to discover how chalk paint can be used to transform an otherwise boring piece. They were given the skills to create a chalkboard to use at home – and the excitement when the gold paint came out was a joy to behold!

Bazaar Family Workshop – Christmas Wreath

It was lovely to see several generations getting creative together over our three Christmas Wreath workshops. Children, parents and grandparents worked together to create a unique wreath to take home, as well as lots of lovely memories.

We’re hoping to add even more over the next few months and develop a full year-round programme of creative activities for the whole family! Visit our workshop page to sign up to our newsletter to find out about upcoming workshops or keep checking to see what’s available. All our workshops are bookable online.

If you’re coming quite far for a visit we may even be able to help you find accommodation – get in touch.
