Spoon Carving – 11am-4pm Sunday 21st June
Using tools to transform wood is an ancient skill. Over time the tools have become better suited to the purpose and once the skills and techniques are learned carving (or ‘whittling’ ) a spoon from green wood is now a truly enjoyable experience.
In this workshop Guest Tutor (and founding member of the Narberth Whittlers Association), Lee Phillips, will help you become familiar with the tools and basic techniques enabling you to create your very own spoon.
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners but is only suitable for adults.
Everything required for the workshop will be provided – no surprises when you arrive; there will also be light refreshments available. (Please make us aware of any allergies beforehand). Please bring a packed lunch.
