Botanical Lino printing – 11am – 4pm Sun 12th May

2 in stock

Botanicals are a perennial feature of interiors and have been since Queen Victoria sat on the throne. This workshop uses botanicals as the inspiration for a linoprint enhanced by gold leaf - and you'll be guided every step of the way.

Lino printing involves drawing a design, then creating a printing block by carving the design into it, then using ink to print from the block. Once the print is made, gold leaf can be applied to embellish and enhance your design. It may seem complicated but our guest tutor, artist Deborah Darling, will ensure you create something beautiful. The workshop is suitable for complete beginners or those wishing to expand their skills.

Everything required for the workshop will be provided; there will also be light refreshments available (Please make us aware of any allergies beforehand).

Bring a packed lunch (or feel free to wander into Narberth to purchase lunch).
