So much beautiful stock just lion around...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
OK. It's the best I could do. I'm only halfway through my first coffee of the day!
Adding a little colour to my feed today - and here Adding a little colour to my feed today - and here's a little snapshot of the real life behind it...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This gorgeous saxifrage is one that I brought home from our Garden & Salvage Yard a few weeks ago. It's now in full bloom and looking lovely so I thought I would get a good pic to add to the website. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Photographing from above didn't do the pretty plant justice so using a chair for support (I live with something called facet joint syndrome so my back doesn't perform the way it should), I got down low and prepared to take a photograph or two. Promptly Bluebell, who lays beautiful eggs and has stunning grey coloured feathers but inside is the chicken equivalent of a mafia godfather / godmother, decided that if I was outside I should really be distributing copious amount of corn treats, and energetically pecked my backside with, what I have to say, must be the sharpest chicken beak in existence. The air turned blue as I lost my balance ( precarious at best) and ended up on the patio, sitting in chicken poop. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Not my finest moment. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I've spent the rest of the evening looking up chicken recipes...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Any suggestions?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

There are a few saxifrage plants left, red and white, in the yard along with lots of other pieces to enhance your outside space. You will be safe - it's not 'Bring your murderous top of the pecking order chicken to work day' for a couple of months yet...

Does anyone else believe that tulips are at their most beautiful just before they completely disintegrate? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Definitely #elegantlyknackered !

Anyone else think it looks like our hens are posin Anyone else think it looks like our hens are posing for a girl band photo shoot? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Yes?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
OK, so what could their band be called? Any ideas?
Another Monday. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This o Another Monday. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This one is a good Monday though. It's a good Monday because it means that there's only one more week until we can reopen. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We're dusting off the counter, polishing the automatic hand sanitiser dispenser and sweeping the yard.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
All we need now is for some lovely people to come visit (perhaps spend some money) and then we'll be like a proper shop again...
Wait! What? What are they doing in our garden?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Nothing funnier than an indignant chicken. Oh, other than when one ran away with Mr B's cheese sandwich...
